Our History

Quantithermal Instruments traces its roots back to 1963, when it began as the Instrument Products Division of DuPont. The business became an independent company in 1990 and was later acquired by Waters Corporation in 1996. Since then, Quantithermal Instruments has maintained its leadership in thermal analysis, living up to the meaning behind its name—“Quantitative Thermal Measurement.”

Over the years, we have expanded our portfolio through innovation and acquisition, now covering multiple analytical domains including rheology, microcalorimetry, thermal conductivity and diffusivity, dilatometry, rubber testing systems, and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA).
